Advocates for Homeless Families, a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower motivated families to overcome homelessness, is seeking new Board members for a three-year commitment beginning October 2008. Advocates families achieve success through a two-year structured program of education, housing and support services. Advocates operates two major programs, a transitional housing program and a program to help families in economic crisis from losing their homes. In particular Advocates needs applicants with fundraising, financial, education and/or marketing experience. However, any interested applicant who is ready to commit three years to the organization is welcome to apply.
